Since the closure of the original cave in 1963, Lascaux IV offers an immersive experience as close to reality as possible. Would you like a guided tour, an exploration at your own pace with an audioguide, or a tailor-made discovery ? Lascaux IV adapts to your needs:
• Guided tour : mornings and afternoons, for discovery with a mediator.
• Self-guided tour : only at lunchtime, with an audioguide.

Start your visit at the Lascaux IV lookout. From here, you can enjoy the view over the Vézère Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continuing on your way, you’ll come to the entrance to the replica. Inside, the atmosphere is that of a real cave.

Lascaux II or Lascaux IV: which tour should you choose ?
